Hannibal

Hannibal organises holidays for youngsters with and without a disability (6-30). There are thirty holidays in summer and several weekends during the year. Every person with a disability is welcome on a holiday, but there are different kinds. There are holidays especially for people with a physical disability, with a mental disability and for people with autism. They work with different age groups. For children the holidays are always in Belgium; for the youngsters there is also the possibility of participating in an international exchange or a holiday abroad. 

Hannibal organized in the framework and with the support of the European program youth several youth exchanges for and by youngsters with and without a disability (action 1 Youth for Europe) with international partners in Italy, Spain, Portugal, Slovakia, Montenegro, Iceland, the Netherlands, La Réunion,… 

Hannibal gives training to youth leaders. They organise training sessions for everyone who wants to go on a holiday with people with a disability. The training consists mostly of three main topics: how to counsel people with different disabilities, how to work in a creative way with them and how to design good activities for different age groups.
